Attracting Birds

Birds can be encouraged into the garden by planting trees, shrubs,
hedgerows and wildflowers. Shrubs that bear fruit or berries are a good source
of food for garden birds during the autumn and winter months. Recommended
shrubs include; Hawthorn, Snowberry, Blackthorn, and Elderberry. Trees include;
Mountain Ash, Birch, Alder, and Hornbeam, Privet and Dogwood.
