If you're looking for a thoughtful gift for that special bee lover in your life, then let us help. A Bee Brick paired with a beautiful Growbar seed pack makes a great gift for nature lovers this Christmas, truly the gift that keeps on giving as you wait for flowers to grow and bees to nest.
Solitary bees are fascinating to watch and a wonderful way to introduce kids to bees, solitary bees have no queen or honey to protect, meaning they are non-aggressive and won’t sting.
Bee houses can be a simple way to do something to help our declining bee population, alongside bee-friendly planting and other wildlife-friendly measures.
This gift pack contains a Bee Brick (colour of your choice) with a pack of bee-friendly seeds from the team at Growbar.

More information
Bee Brick™ is solid at the back and has moulded cavities where the bees will lay their eggs, sealing the entrance with mud or chewed up vegetation. Offspring emerge in the Spring and begin the process of nesting again, repeating the cycle.
Solitary bees are facing a dramatic decline in numbers due to disease, an increase in chemical use and habitat loss. Pollinators account for 1/3 of the food we eat and are a vital part of our environment. The Bee Brick™ can be used in urban spaces and places where there may not be alternative nesting sites for bees, either built into a wall or building or simply stood alone in a garden or allotment. Solitary bees are harmless and will not sting you unless you handle them roughly, even then their stings are not painful, meaning they are safe to encourage around pets and children.
