Fancy treating the father in your life this Father's day? (That's June 21st, 2020 for anyone who's lost all track of days and dates!!)
We're delighted to bring you a little competition, just in time for this years' Father's Day.
How to enter.
Simply tell us, in the comments below, about why the garden-loving dad in your life deserves a treat. It could be your dad, your husband, brother, cousin, uncle, we want to know who and why you think they might deserve a little gift.
We'll be reading your comments and choosing a worthy winner to receive a Bee Brick solitary bee house from the Green&Blue range in plenty of time for this year's Father's day.
And if you fancy more ways to win then we're running the same competition on our Facebook page and our Instagram account, and in partnership with a few of our favourite accounts over on IG too, we'll be sharing details of those in our stories!
Phew, so many ways to win! Good luck, we can't wait to read your nominations.
The small print!
The closing date is June 12th, 2020. No cash alternative. Competition is organised by Green&Blue and our decision is final. There are multiple ways to win.

In between teaching at our local primary school, my husband has created a cottage garden with a wooded area for wildlife. He helps run the forest school and has just planted their first orchard. He really enjoys educating the children, to learn about and respect the environment, and it has become a way of life for our family. A bee house would be the perfect addition.
The salads your Dad made (he’s been at it since daybreak),
Chopping and fine tuning his secret marinade,
He’s an Aussie so is in his DNA,
And his Persian salad is the top way to get ‘5 a day’,
Or tiny garden is his pride
Four meters long and five meters wide
And on thing is missing – cant you just see?
a home for nature, is it to Bee or not to Bee!
This would be great for my Dad. He has just finished renovating the garden and it would be perfect by his honeysuckle climber.
This would be fab for my Dad who has been working really hard on my Mum and Dad’s garden to turn it into a little paradise. He loves watching wildlife in the garden and spending time outside so this would be a great treat.
Five years ago, I gifted my garden-loving husband a beekeeping course for his birthday. He loved it! He planted the garden with all the right flowers, created space for solitary bees and made plans for the smallest of apiaries. He bought the suit, bee boxes, smokers, spinners, etc etc etc! The next summer, our first daughter arrived. All bee keeping plans went on hold and the gear went in the shed while the bees made merry on the flowers. Two years later, our second daughter arrived and the gear continued to gather dust. Despite this, he has never given up on his bee and nature passion and because of him, our girls jump and point with excitement at every bee, bird and dragonfly they spot in the garden. They can even name a fair few birds. I know he is fostering a lifelong passion in them and I am truly grateful for his patience and for making our garden such a fun space for our girls and the wildlife.
