Win a Father's day gift | For garden loving dads

Fancy treating the father in your life this Father's day? (That's June 21st, 2020 for anyone who's lost all track of days and dates!!)

We're delighted to bring you a little competition, just in time for this years' Father's Day.

How to enter.

Simply tell us, in the comments below, about why the garden-loving dad in your life deserves a treat. It could be your dad, your husband, brother, cousin, uncle, we want to know who and why you think they might deserve a little gift.

We'll be reading your comments and choosing a worthy winner to receive a Bee Brick solitary bee house from the Green&Blue range in plenty of time for this year's Father's day.

And if you fancy more ways to win then we're running the same competition on our Facebook page and our Instagram account, and in partnership with a few of our favourite accounts over on IG too, we'll be sharing details of those in our stories!

Phew, so many ways to win! Good luck, we can't wait to read your nominations.

I would love to get this bee brick for my daddy because he really wants a garden but we don’t
Really have one. I no that bees only sting once then they die but they work very hard around gardens to collect nectar..

I would love one of these for my Dad … at 82 with mixed dementia it’s not the easiest, but he does love to sit in his garden in the sunshine and watch nature. He has so many beautiful flowers that serve the bees, … and this would be another good reason for him to engage and to encourage his grandchildren to visit.

As we noticed how many different bees there were in the garden, my dear husband decided he wanted a bee book for his birthday. Daughter No 1 researched and bought one. Every day he checks out our various bees in the garden and on our walks and then looks through the book for identification. He is totally captivated by the variety we have here on the east coast of Scotland. A bee brick would make his day!

My step dad would love this! He spends a lot of time pottering around the garden and now my son is old enough they love finding bugs together! Most favourite at the moment is finding the slowworms in the compost bin! It would be lovely for them to bond over ‘their’ bees too.
