Fancy treating the father in your life this Father's day? (That's June 21st, 2020 for anyone who's lost all track of days and dates!!)
We're delighted to bring you a little competition, just in time for this years' Father's Day.
How to enter.
Simply tell us, in the comments below, about why the garden-loving dad in your life deserves a treat. It could be your dad, your husband, brother, cousin, uncle, we want to know who and why you think they might deserve a little gift.
We'll be reading your comments and choosing a worthy winner to receive a Bee Brick solitary bee house from the Green&Blue range in plenty of time for this year's Father's day.
And if you fancy more ways to win then we're running the same competition on our Facebook page and our Instagram account, and in partnership with a few of our favourite accounts over on IG too, we'll be sharing details of those in our stories!
Phew, so many ways to win! Good luck, we can't wait to read your nominations.
The small print!
The closing date is June 12th, 2020. No cash alternative. Competition is organised by Green&Blue and our decision is final. There are multiple ways to win.

I would really like to nominate my daughters partner, Chris who is very passionate about saving the bees. He deserves a treat as he has been so very kind to me over the past few weeks whilst I have been isolating, he comes with shopping, getting the weekend papers which he knows I really do like to have. I am so very grateful to him for his caring nature and this would be a treat for him which I know he would really love.
my hubby would love this we love seeing the bees in our garden and this would be lovely
My dad is nature boy. He just loves being at one with nature. He finds insects fansinating. He’s planted things like purple tansy, foxglove and wild flowers for the bees. he has a wild meadow patch at the bottom of his garden as well as a pond, veg garden, herb garden., fruit trees such as apple and pear. He spends hours watching insects and trying to take photos of them. he would love these to encourage more bees and insects to live in his garden.
My husband has spent the past 18 months transforming the neglected garden we inherited when we bought our house into a vegetable growing paradise. He designed an amazing shed, built raised beds, planters, fences and a gate out of second hand wood, laid turf, planted seedlings, the works. He even laid the deck, with the help of my parents in law. All around working a full time job and helping to look after our toddler. It has been a total refuge during lockdown, and we’re now beginning to eat the fruits (and vegetables) of his labours: salad leaves, radishes, broad beans, garlic, strawberries, rhubarb, herbs, with lots more to come. The whole garden feels like a beautiful love letter to me and our daughter (and our dogs, who mainly enjoy eating compost and chasing the squirrels).
I think this would be a lovely present for my 40 year old son who lives with me and previously had no interest in gardening nor nature. However, during lockdown he has seen the benefits of both to our physical and emotional wellbeing. During these later weeks he has been able to go for walks with his 9 year old daughter outside in the fresh air and with her has discovered a much better, relaxed lifestyle. they are both keen to learn more about nature, plants, insects and a bee brick would be a lovely thing to interest them for after lockdown.
