Win a Father's day gift | For garden loving dads

Fancy treating the father in your life this Father's day? (That's June 21st, 2020 for anyone who's lost all track of days and dates!!)

We're delighted to bring you a little competition, just in time for this years' Father's Day.

How to enter.

Simply tell us, in the comments below, about why the garden-loving dad in your life deserves a treat. It could be your dad, your husband, brother, cousin, uncle, we want to know who and why you think they might deserve a little gift.

We'll be reading your comments and choosing a worthy winner to receive a Bee Brick solitary bee house from the Green&Blue range in plenty of time for this year's Father's day.

And if you fancy more ways to win then we're running the same competition on our Facebook page and our Instagram account, and in partnership with a few of our favourite accounts over on IG too, we'll be sharing details of those in our stories!

Phew, so many ways to win! Good luck, we can't wait to read your nominations.

I am just learning about bees, I had not realised how many different bees there are. I would welcome a bee brick to attract more and give them a home.

My husband soooo deserves a treat, he has been excellent in the garden, he is not a natural gardener but he has got stuck in since the lockdown, painting fences, revamping furniture and chopping trees, he’s been working so hard and deserves a real treat

I’d like to nominate my 89 year old dad to win a bee brick as he’s a great dad to his 8 kids and grandfather to 13 grandkids. Just before lockdown started he had just been discharged from hospital and has since had 2 further admissions, returning brighter and cheerier each time. As an nhs employee working with covid patients on critical care I won’t be able to visit him probably for some time, so I’d like my dad to have the bee brick to enjoy in the garden with my 80 year old mum, particularly as we should have been on a canal boat holiday this week enjoying nature. Plus it will go with my mums beepot! :)

I’d like to nominate my husband. He’s an ever patient father to our three girls and he has very little spare time. When he does get a break he loves nothing more than to lay in his hammock in the garden listening to the birds and insects. One of your beautiful bee houses would be the perfect addition to help while away those precious few minutes of rest and peace! X
